Kiwi Ultralight 2024 Gear Release Plans

2023 was a big year for our Big 3, 2024 is about expanding our lineup and making more tents and packs available at all times

Happy New Year from Kiwi Ultralight!

We hope you’ve all had time to enjoy our Summer holidays. Now is the time to reflect on the past year and look forward to next year’s developments.

In 2023 we achieved our goal of becoming the only company in the country producing a NZ-made Big 3 set of tramping gear. Along with that came the lightest titanium V-stakes and folding carbon poles to replace the need for trekking poles when pitching your tent - all our own design.

In 2024, we plan to launch several more products of our own design including:

• Ultralight tarp and bivy system

• Bum bags/fanny packs using unique patterns similar to our Tui 42 Pack

• Balaclava for keeping your head warm at night (pairing perfectly with our quilts)

• The 2024 Moa tent model(s)

• Several new patterns for both the Tui 42 and Bush Cloths (including more subtle patterns at the request of many!)

And more?! It’s definitely possible: we’re always looking for new ways to bring ultralight innovation to New Zealand!
